Mr. Leeds is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Fred Leeds Asset Group and its real estate operation. He is responsible for directing the investment activities of the company, including acquisitions, development, value-added projects and dispositions; and, oversees the management of over 3,000 residential apartment units as well as 1,500,000 square feet of retail properties throughout Southern California, Arizona, and New York.
Fred has a 30 year history including over 500 successful property acquisitions, development and re-sales. Fred owns interest in and oversees a national property portfolio fast approaching $700,000,000 in value. One of his several notable projects includes the Wilshire Union Center, the largest land parcel privately owned on Wilshire Boulevard west of Downtown Los Angeles to the beach.
Fred graduated from the University of Southern California in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. His active participation in the community has earned him several awards and accommodations including the City of Los Angeles Mayor Certificate of Appreciation Award for the Improvement of the Model Neighborhood Program Target Area.
Rachel Solender joins the Fred Leeds Asset Group with an abundance of professional and advisory experience. Her job responsibilities have included the following: developing and implementing human resource protocol; instituting and maintaining accounting systems; heading financial and managerial accounting departments, and being the Chief Administrative Officer of a non-profit organization. She graduated UCLA with a Magna Cum Laude in Psychology, with a Minor in Diversified Liberal Arts. She is also a State of California Early Childhood through High School credentialed Master Teacher and Site Supervisor. Rachel will utilize her 20 years of experience in cost controls, managing corporations, and developing infrastructure to ensure that your property runs cost efficiently. She is available to respond to your questions, and service your related financial needs.
Jordan Wheeler is head of the commercial properties division at Fred Leeds Properties. He provides complete asset management for 1,500,000 sqft of retail shopping centers in Los Angeles, Arizona and New York as well as high end loft apartment buildings in downtown Los Angeles. As Director he is responsible for leasing, maintenance, CAM monitoring and reconciliation, and acquisitions of commercial properties.
Mr. Cervantes has been working for Fred Leeds Property Management since 1993. He supervises all of Mr. Leeds’ portfolios, dealing with day to day operations of the management. He interacts with all tenants, negotiates contracts with vendors and makes sure that all products are delivered. Mr. Cervantes also handles evictions, legal aspects of tenant/landlord law, and deals with LAHD and all systematic code enforcement inspections.
<Mr. Cervantes graduated from Santa Monica College with an AA in business. He has an Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles Certification in Lead Base and is always taking classes to keep up with the new laws associated with landlords and tenants. Mr. Cervantes is fluent in English and Spanish.
Eric works as the Property Asset Supervisor at Fred Leeds Asset Group.
Rachel is a native Californian who began her career in property management in 1989 in the San Fernando Valley. She left Los Angeles in 2004 to specialize in Leasing for a large Real Estate Investment Trust based out of Orange County Recently she returned to The City Of Angels and became a part of the Fred Leed’s Asset Group where she oversees the assets of several privately owned properties throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area and Anaheim.
Debra Guerrero was born in Los Angeles, CA. She has extensive experience in property management. Debra has been in property management for 5 years, and started as a resident manger in the beginning of her career, and now Supervises a portfolio of over 250 buildings, both in house and fee management. Debra specializes is REO properties and manages the most difficult properties in Los Angeles. She strives to help the community and make a positive impact in every person she meets, and is a member of the Los Angeles Community Police academy. Debra is a native of Los Angeles and has in-depth knowledge of the market and is fluent in Spanish. She is a member of AAGLA, Notary Public, and is in the process of completing her real estate license.
Mike has 9 years of Property Management experience. Which includes Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Commercial Field Supervisor, Residential Manager and Yardi technician. Mike has worked for Fred Leeds Properties for 1 year in the Accounting department doing Accounts Payable, Bookkeeping and the Yardi conversion.
