Fred Leeds | CPM & President
Mr. Leeds is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Fred Leeds Properties and its real estate operation. He is responsible for directing the investment activities of the company, including acquisitions, development, value-added projects and dispositions. Fred attended the University of Southern California. His active participation in the community has earned him several awards and accommodations including the City of Los Angeles Mayor Certificate of Appreciation Award for the Improvement of the Model Neighborhood Program Target Area.
Rachel Solender | Controller
Rachel Solender joins the Fred Leeds Properties with an abundance of professional and advisory experience. Her job responsibilities have included the following: developing and implementing human resource protocol; instituting and maintaining accounting systems; heading financial and managerial accounting departments, and being the Chief Administrative Officer of a non-profit organization. She graduated UCLA with a Magna Cum Laude in Psychology, with a Minor in Diversified Liberal Arts. She is also a State of California Early Childhood through High School credentialed Master Teacher and Site Supervisor. Rachel will utilize her 20 years of experience in cost controls, managing corporations, and developing infrastructure to ensure that your property runs cost efficiently. She is available to respond to your questions, and service your related financial needs.
Max Leeds | Legal and Operations
Max Leeds heads a number of areas at Fred Leeds Properties. A 2011 graduate of UCLA Law, he supervises and directs the company’s ongoing litigation, and also drafts and reviews transactional real estate documentation, from acquisitions to loans to property management agreements. He serves as the lead contact for fee management property owners, providing monthly financial documentation from Yardi and answering questions, and, as a California licensed real estate broker, acts as a secondary acquisitions executive after Fred. He serves as head of operations along with Rachel Solender. Max graduated from USC with a degree in finance in 2006.
Jordan Wheeler | Commercial Asset Manager
Jordan Wheeler is head of the commercial properties division at Fred Leeds Properties. As Director he is responsible for leasing, maintenance, CAM monitoring and reconciliation, and acquisitions of commercial properties.
Nemesio Cervantes | Regional Property Management Supervisor
Mr. Cervantes has been working for Fred Leeds Properties since 1993. As a Regional Supervisor he supervises a large portion of Mr. Leeds’ portfolio and deals with the day to day operations of management. He interacts with tenants and managers, negotiates contracts with vendors, and makes sure that deadlines are met. Mr. Cervantes also handles evictions, legal aspects of tenant/landlord law, and deals with many of LAHD’s systematic code enforcement inspections. Mr. Cervantes graduated from Santa Monica College with an AA degree in business. He has a California Real Estate Salesperson License, an Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles Certification in Lead Based paint, and is always taking classes to keep up with the new laws associated with landlords and tenants. Mr. Cervantes is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Eric Giel | Regional Property Management Supervisor
Mr. Giel joined the Fred Leeds Properties team in 2006. He came to us with two decades of management experience. As a Regional Supervisor he oversees a large portion of Mr. Leeds’ portfolio, deals with the day to day operations of management, interacts with both tenants and managers, and negotiates contracts with vendors. In addition, Mr. Giel has built strong relationships with LAHD, Section 8, Los Angeles, City Hall, and the County Health Department. He also handles evictions and deals with the legal aspects of tenant/landlord law. Mr. Giel has a California Real Estate Salesperson License, an Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles Certification in Lead Based Paint, and is a member of AAGLA. He is also always taking classes to keep up with the new laws associated with landlords and tenants.
